The percentage of Cambodia’s rural population with access to improved water supply and sanitation facilities has increased in recent years, due to the government’s aim to develop the rural water supply and sanitation (RWSS) sector in the country. ADB has actively supported the development of RWSS sector in Cambodia since 2001.
