ADB’s Charter notes that necessary measures should be done to ensure that the proceeds of any loan are used for their intended purposes. Borrowers should also be in a position to meet their obligations under the loan agreement. This presentation gives an overview of the Bank’s mechanics of accounting and explains the concept of Financial Management Assessment and how it is applied by ADB.
