The main objectives of this Act are:- Security and protection of the constitutional rights of citizens to culturalactivities;

- Provision of legal safeguards for the free cultural activitiesassociations of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Definition of the principles and the legal regulation of subjectscultural activities;

- Determination of the state policy in the field of culture.
