The purpose of this Law is to ensure legal bases for the effective use of pesticides and agrochemicals, as well as safe application for the person and the environment.

The Law regulates the relations originating within the scope of effective use and safe application of chemicals intended for agricultural use and of biological agents during the state administration, development, registration, manufacture, labeling, packaging, marketing, storage, handling, use decontamination, disposal, information exchange, advertising, and export-import of pesticides and agrochemicals.
