X-band Rainfall Radars

FURUNO from Japan recently developed a high resolution, compact X-band Doppler Weather Radar that accurately measures rainfall. The weather radars are compact, energy efficient and record 75 to 150 meter-mesh rainfall with high data update cycles (1 min) covering 70-kilometer radius, providing real-time rainfall for flood management operations.
