Winning ADB Contracts: Success Stories and Expert Guidance - Central Asian Opportunities
12 March 2026

ADB’s engagement in the region has supported transformative projects across key sectors. In Uzbekistan alone, the Bank has facilitated a portfolio exceeding US$15 billion through joint cooperation, with additional initiatives worth over US$3 billion now in development across energy, transport, digital transformation, and education. Through regional programs, ADB has committed more than US$10 billion toward economic integration and sustainable growth under the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program, which has mobilized approximately US$54 billion for regional development since 2001.

Objectives

This program was designed for U.S. companies seeking to expand into Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and the broader Central Asian region. The session provided practical guidance on navigating ADB procurement processes, insights into priority sectors and upcoming projects, and lessons learned from companies that have successfully secured ADB-funded contracts.
