Think20 Indonesia 2022 Inception Conference: Realizing Inclusive Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic

In 2022, the Think20 (T20), the Group of 20s (G20) think tank engagement group, is being led by top Indonesian research institutions as part of the country’s G20 presidency. T20 Indonesia highlighted innovative policy solutions for addressing the COVID-19 pandemic’s impacts and other shared challenges under the theme Recover Together, Recover Stronger.

Co-organized by the University of Indonesia’s Institute for Economic and Social Research and the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, in partnership with the Asian Development Bank Institute, the T20 Indonesia 2022 Inception Conference featured expert discussions on guiding policy innovation during Indonesia’s G20 presidency.

The conference also convened T20 Indonesia task forces to develop timely, evidence-based measures for boosting sustainable growth, financial stability, climate change mitigation, digitalization, demographic transition, and social cohesion amid the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.
