Public Procurement Opportunities and Policy Reforms in Uzbekistan
24 to 25 April 2025

ADB undertakes business opportunities seminars (BOSs) with its members to improve the interest and ability of eligible suppliers to locate ADB business opportunities, prepare high-quality and responsive bids, and understand ADB’s procurement and anticorruption procedures.

This event represented a co-organized, multi-partner BOS and national policy seminar. It included participation from the Government of Uzbekistan (Ministry of Economy and Finance and Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade) and the other major multilateral development banks (MDBs) with active business opportunities in Uzbekistan: namely, the World Bank Group, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Islamic Development Bank. The electronic procurement system operators of the Government of Uzbekistan, “Hayot Birja” JSC, and the “Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange” JSC were co-sponsoring the event, alongside ADB and the World Bank Group.

The event was held in person at the Hilton Tashkent City.
