ADB undertakes business opportunities seminars (BOSs) with its members to improve the interest and ability of eligible suppliers to locate ADB business opportunities, prepare high-quality and responsive bids, and understand ADB’s procurement and anticorruption procedures.

This event represents a co-organized, multi-partner BOS and national policy seminar. It will include participation from the Government of Uzbekistan (Ministry of Economy and Finance and Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade) and the other major multilateral development banks (MDBs) with active business opportunities in Uzbekistan: namely, the World Bank Group, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Islamic Development Bank. The electronic procurement system operators of the Government of Uzbekistan, “Hayot Birja” JSC and the “Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange” JSC are co-sponsoring the event, alongside ADB and the World Bank Group.

The event will be held in person at the Hilton Tashkent City. Event registration is open and registration is free of charge. Registration is required and only participants with confirmed registration will be provided entry to the event. Registration will close when the participation limit of approximately 200 people is reached. To ensure a diverse audience, the organizers reserve the right to limit the number of participants from the same organization or company. In general, registration requests will be limited to two (2) individuals from the same organization or company, although exceptions can be requested. Participants must cover all their own travel and logistical costs to attend the event. Registered participants requiring a visa may request a letter from the organizers that acknowledges their registration to the event. Please note that the organizing committee will not be able to support any other logistical matters or queries.
