Potential Use of Drones in Data Acquisitions in Development Projects

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) demonstrated the advantages of drones in developing projects. Recent advances in drone technology complement existing techniques, slotting neatly between large-area imagery from satellites and ground surveying. AIT also flew a drone and discussed its application to urban planning in combination with other information layers.
