Land Governance: A Prerequisite for Sustainable Urban Development 10 February 2017 Land governance is a prerequisite for sustainable development, poverty eradication, and fulfillment of human rights. The Global Land Tool Network (GLTN) Programme, facilitated by UN-HABITAT, was established with this context in mind.
