Land Governance: A Prerequisite for Sustainable Urban Development

Land governance is a prerequisite for sustainable development, poverty eradication, and fulfillment of human rights.
The Global Land Tool Network (GLTN) Programme, facilitated by UN-HABITAT, was established with this context in mind. In a sharing session, Danilo Antonio overall lead of UN-HABITAT's GLTN Programme, presented innovative land tools and experiences for tenure security improvement, fit-for-purpose land administration, pro-poor land information, participatory and inclusive land readjustment, and land-based financing.
