Integrity Learning Series: Bhutan Anticorruption and Integrity in ADB Projects (IRUDP and GRAHSP)
18 August 2026

Bhutan

On 18 August, 12 representatives from two Bhutan implementing agencies, Phuentsholing Thromde and the National Housing Development Corporation Limited engaged in an online learning session on ADB's anticorruption and integrity framework.

Senior Integrity Officer Maria Carmela S. Concepcion and Integrity Specialist Andy Guangji Xue led discussions on integrity risks, red flags, due diligence, and sanctions screening. The session was conducted as part of an inception mission for the Inclusive and Resilient Urban Development Project and a review mission for the Green and Resilient Affordable Housing Sector Project, both sovereign projects in Bhutan, reinforcing the importance of integrity throughout project implementation.

As part of the Integrity Learning Series under RETA 10349, OAI provides tailored training for participants with oversight and project management responsibilities.
