Indonesia-Japan Policy Research Forum for Asia: Impact Investing for the Transition Toward a Zero-Carbon Society 22 February 2023 Co-organized by ADBI, the University of Indonesia, and the University of Tokyo, the Indonesia-Japan Policy Research Forum for Asia discussed climate change and impact investing practices for advancing the transition toward a zero-carbon society. It explored the growth of impact investing and its focus on generating positive social and environmental effects alongside a financial return. The forum also highlighted impact investing opportunities in Indonesia, one of Southeast Asia’s most promising impact investing markets based on impact capital deployed by private investors and development finance institutions in the financial services, agriculture, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
