Improving Rail and Freight Transport Efficiency

The 10th International Freight Conference organized by the Organization for Cooperation of Railways (OSJD) was held in Seoul, South Korea on 28 May 2015. The conference covered various topics, including development and improvement of international rail transport between Asia and Europe and specific corridors such as the Trans-Siberian railway, China-Europe freight rail connection, and Trans-Korean Peninsula railways. In this Improving Rail and Freight Transport Efficiency: Insights from the 10th International Freight Conference, ADB's Transport Specialist Takeshi Fukayama and Regional Cooperation Specialist Jeff Procak shared their insights from the conference in a learning event held in July.
