The Role and Future of Digital Economy Agreements (DEAs) in Developing Asia is a new ADB publication that explores the evolving landscape of digital trade and regulation in Asia and the Pacific. It examines how different forms of digital regulatory cooperation are being adopted to manage data flows, promote digital standards, and support inclusive growth. The volume features insights from leading experts on digital regulatory cooperation, including digital economy agreements, cross-border e-payments, digital standards, and digital taxation. It also touches on emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain and their potential impact on future regulatory frameworks for the region.
