Financing for SDGs

The roundtables explored key components that contribute to creating an enabling environment for localizing the sustainable development goals (SDGs) 2030 where subnational and local governments are able to contribute meaningfully to the national SDG agenda. These enablers support the principle of ‘leaving no one behind’ and are applicable in various development contexts.

  • Data and Monitoring
  • Multi-stakeholder Engagement, Partnerships, and Knowledge Sharing

The event brought together country representatives from Asia and the Pacific region, civil society representatives, academia, development partners, and subject-matter experts. The roundtable will specifically look at country experiences from Pakistan, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines.

This session is part of the Localizing SDGs Week 2021 program.
