Series: Joint Multilateral Development Bank Pavilion From Evidence to Action: Operationalizing Biodiversity and Regenerative Practices in Agriculture 20 October 2026 Armenia What does it take to operationalize biodiversity-enhancing and regenerative practices in agriculture? This session answered that question through real country and private sector experience. Grounded in the World Bank's Agriculture Rooted in Biodiversity report and IFC's Regenerative Agriculture framework, the session offered a practical, transferable approach to operationalizing biodiversity in agriculture investment, and is designed to accelerate progress toward the CBD's 2030 targets. A panel discussion brought Armenia's Deputy Ministry of Agriculture, the Government of the donor country, World Bank Group, CGIAR, and IUCN to discuss how to advance landscape restoration and food systems transformation, digging into the investments, tools, and metrics needed to scale this work across countries, and what it takes to replicate it elsewhere.
