Environmental and Social Sustainability in Trade and Supply Chains

ADB Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP), with its aim of making global trade and supply chains inclusive, green, resilient, transparent, and socially responsible, organized a 3-day workshop on ‘Environmental and Social Sustainability in Trade and Supply Chains” for partner banks in Central and West Asia. The workshop intended to provide an overview of the current trends and initiatives being taken by ADB TSCFP and its partners in Environmental and Social (E&S) governance in the finance/banking sector E & S Safeguards, including, but not limited to Labor Risk Due Diligence Process, Child, and Forced Labor (CFL) Due Diligence Pilot Project, the importance of E & S, Labor, and Climate risk management in the banking industry
