The integration of digital technology in health financing within developing member countries (DMCs) of the Asia-Pacific region was seen as a transformative step towards achieving more efficient, transparent, and equitable healthcare systems. By leveraging digital tools, these countries could enhance administrative efficiency, improve data management for informed decision-making, reduce fraud, increase accessibility to healthcare services, especially in remote areas, and support the overarching goal of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). In this endeavor, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) played a pivotal role as a supporter through Technical Assistance (TA) 9967: Using Digital Technology to Improve National Health Financing in Asia and the Pacific, providing targeted assistance to strengthen digital health initiatives across the region.

The webinar served as a crucial platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences in digital health financing. It brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss innovative strategies and share lessons learned from the Asia-Pacific region.
