Series: Civil Society Program, 59th ADB Annual Meeting Digital Technology and AI for Climate and Disaster Resilience 6 May 2026 Uzbekistan Held under the Civil Society Program, the seminar Digital Technology and AI for Climate and Disaster Resilience explored how community level data, digital platforms, and AI enabled information services can support climate and disaster resilience across Asia. The seminar was organized by the International Rescue Committee–Asia and Asia Disaster Reduction and Response Network, and held on the sidelines of the 59th Annual Meeting of the ADB Board of Governors in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The 2026 ADB Annual Meeting is being held from 3 to 6 May under the theme “Crossroads of Progress: Advancing the Region’s Connected Future.” The ADB Annual Meeting brings together policymakers, private sector leaders, development partners, and innovators to advance practical solutions in connectivity, digital innovation, and innovative finance—strengthening the region’s capacity for resilient and sustainable growth. Over the years, the event has become a leading forum for discussion of economic and social development issues in Asia and the Pacific.
