PhilippinesThis learning event explained the purpose of organizing this seminar on Developing Countries’ Participation in Global Value Chains: Implications for Trade and Trade-Related Policies and in what ways OECD’s work differs from the rest. An overview of OECD’s global value chain (GVC) project is presented. It also covered GVC participation and how it is measured, and discussed the differences in countries’ experiences on GVC participation.
