COVID-19 Vaccine: Are Central and West Asian Countries Ready? 6 August 2020 In the race against time to develop a vaccine against COVID-19, forward-looking policymakers must begin exploring the next steps such as access to the vaccine, financing, and distribution, and start working on their countries' preparedness for the challenge. Two renowned experts provided an overview of the current state of vaccine development and discussed mechanisms for Central and West Asian countries to access the vaccine, as well as items that should be on the "to-do" lists of policymakers in these countries.
