Business Opportunities Seminar for Civil Society Organizations

11 July 2024

Over 200 individuals from civil society groups participated in the Business Opportunities for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) webinars on 11 July. Organized by Climate Change and Sustainable Development's (CCSD) NGO and Civil Society Center, the sessions sought to enhance CSOs' capacity to pursue opportunities for collaboration with ADB. Benjamin Graham, Director of CCSD's Fragility and Engagement Division, and Haidy Ear-Dupuy, Unit Head of NGOC, welcomed attendees and highlighted ADB's longstanding commitment to enhancing civil society's engagement in ADB-financed projects, as well as new efforts with the forthcoming operational approach.  NGOC's Marina Rose Best discussed ADB's procurement procedures, shared insights on how CSOs can competitively bid for projects, and addressed questions from participants.
