Book Discussion: Keeping Indonesia Safe from the COVID-19 Pandemic: Lessons Learnt from the National Economic Recovery Programme

This ADBI hybrid event spotlighted key takeaways from the new book Keeping Indonesia Safe from the COVID-19 Pandemic: Lessons Learnt from the National Economic Recovery Programme, published by the Indonesia Finance Ministry and the ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute. It explored COVID-19’s economic impact in Indonesia and the effectiveness of the country’s fiscal stabilization and economic recovery initiatives.

The keynote speakers were Indonesia Vice Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara and Indonesia Ambassador to Japan Heri Akhmadi. Their remarks were followed by a discussion panel of contributors to the book and other experts and an audience question and answer session.
