Asia Pacific Public Electronic Procurement Network Inaugural e-Government Procurement Conference
5 to 6 October 2015

The Asia Pacific Public Electronic Procurement Network Inaugural e-Government Procurement Conference conference aimed to strengthen the capacity of public procurement agencies in Asia and the Pacific to implement e-procurement solutions based on international best practices and sharing of experiences.

This conference helped the participants:

  • build a network of e-procurement practitioners and peers;
  • identify potential areas of collaboration with e-procurement practitioners through the proposed network;
  • gain new insights and knowledge on e-procurement regulation, management and reform in the public sector; and
  • understand implications of using e-procurement for cross-border trade
