Asia-Pacific Climate Report 2024 Launch

31 October 2024

To support developing Asia and the Pacific in combating climate change through policy reforms, the Asian Development Bank launched a new knowledge series: the Asia-Pacific Climate Report. This inaugural issue offered an overview of the region’s evolving climate landscape, including updated estimates of climate change’s impact and surveys of climate change perceptions across the region. The report underscored the urgent need for more strategic and transformative adaptation and discussed policy options available to regional governments to mobilize private capital and implement carbon pricing.
