Asia and the Pacific Food Systems Forum

The Asia and the Pacific Food Systems Forum (formerly the Asia and the Pacific Food Security Forum) is ADB's biennial signature knowledge sharing event that brings together stakeholders to address the region’s worsening food crisis while strengthening long-term food and nutrition security, and climate resilience. Discussions align with ADB's Strategy 2030 midterm review actions and the Food Systems Transformation Operational Approach (2026-2030), which focuses on strengthening agrifood value chains; investing in natural capital for food system resilience; upgrading infrastructure; promoting nutrition and healthy diets; and enhancing social protection and regional cooperation.  The Forum supports ADB's extended program of communication, training, and engagement to raise awareness amongst stakeholders, forge alignment amongst development partners, and catalyze understanding and pipeline development between ADB and its clients.
