Advancing Energy Efficiency in Asia and the Pacific: From Policy to Bankable Projects
28 August 2026

15:00–16:30, Manila time / 14:00–15:30, Jakarta time

Asia is at a critical juncture in turning energy-efficiency ambition into scalable, bankable projects.

Join us on 28 August 2026 for the regional webinar, "Advancing Energy Efficiency in Asia and the Pacific: From Policy to Bankable Projects," bringing together experts from Southeast Asia and India to explore practical implementation approaches, ESCO and financing models, and strategies for building investment-ready pipelines across industry, buildings, and cooling.

The webinar supports ongoing efforts by governments, development partners, and the private sector to accelerate energy efficiency across Asia and the Pacific. As a core pillar of ADB's Energy Policy 2021, energy efficiency is central to ADB's support for a secure, affordable, and sustainable energy transition, including through policy reforms, capacity building, project preparation, and investment mobilization.

The webinar will showcase the ASEAN Energy Efficiency Guidelines for Industrial Parks and SMEs, developed by Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) in collaboration with the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), with strategic guidance and technical inputs from the ASEAN Energy Efficiency and Conservation Sub-Sector Network (EE&C-SSN). The guidelines offer practical approaches to energy management, ESCO models, project aggregation, performance-based contracting, capacity building, and financing for industrial parks and SMEs.

Supported by the UK Mission to ASEAN through the ASEAN-UK Green Transition Fund, the webinar aims to translate policy ambition into practical implementation, bankable projects, and financing opportunities across Asia and the Pacific.

The webinar is organized by SEforALL in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
