Participants highlighted why robust safeguards and accountable governance are essential to ensuring that connectivity and climate investments deliver development results while protecting communities and maximizing development impact.The 2026 ADB Annual Meeting is being held from 3 to 6 May under the theme “Crossroads of Progress: Advancing the Region’s Connected Future.”The ADB Annual Meeting brings together policymakers, private sector leaders, development partners, and innovators to advance practical solutions in connectivity, digital innovation, and innovative finance—strengthening the region’s capacity for resilient and sustainable growth.
