This ADBI Featured Speaker webinar spotlighted Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Chief Economist Erik Berglof, who presented AIIB’s 2022 Asian Infrastructure Finance report on the transition to net zero carbon emissions in emerging economies and related policy challenges and solutions.

Berglof discussed the main “tools” a state can use to accelerate net zero transition, including state-owned enterprises, state-owned financial institutions, and private-public partnerships. He also explained how these tools can be integrated into national innovation and technology adoption frameworks.
