ADB Circular Economy Sprint Series - Closing the Circle: Reducing Plastic Pollution and Promoting Green Businesses
23 September to 18 November 2021

ADB's Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department is organizing a five-part training on Circular Economy (CE) entitled Closing the Circle: Reducing Plastic Pollution and Promoting Green Businesses. This learning series, which will run from 23 September to 18 November, aims to (i) introduce the concept of circular economy, with a focus on circular plastics economy and 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle); (ii) communicate the benefits of applying CE principles to projects and programs; (iii) identify opportunities to mainstream CE in ADB operations; and (iv) upskill ADB project officers on steps to incorporate CE into programs and the early part of project preparation.

(Materials for succeeding parts of the series will be made available at the end of each session.)
