The 56th ADB Annual Meeting: Civil Society Program 6 June 2023 The Civil Society Program of the 56th ADB Annual Meeting gathered CSOs in Incheon, Republic of Korea to dialogue with ADB and other relevant stakeholders on key development topics. Accountability Counsel, APCOM, APMDD, APSD, EEPSEA, GAIA-Asia Pacific, Indus Consortium, ITUC-Asia Pacific, KCOC, NGO Forum on ADB, Oxfam, Partnership for Transparency, Plan International, and Trend Asia led sessions to reflect and discuss key topics like Just Transition, ADB’s Safeguard Policy, multistakeholder partnerships on SDGs, inclusive carbon transition, and equitable climate finance and how these will affect Asia and the Pacific. ADB representatives led by ED Ambassador Chantale Wong, VP Ahmed, SDCC DG Bruno Carrasco, and SDCC’s Bruce Dunn, Sam Tumiwa, and Haidy Ear-Dupuy highlighted the important role of civil society in the development and provided the bank’s perspective on the concerns raised during the event.
