17th ACEF closed with over 3,000 participants in attendance

Clean energy is still relevant as ever particularly at this point in history when the world is losing time to change gears and drive towards net-zero emissions. More than 3,000 people including policy makers, energy experts, private sector, and other stakeholders joined the Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF) 2022 held virtually from 14 to 17 June.

ACEF 17 opened with a call for an overhaul of the energy system by President Masa then closed with a critical look at how to mobilize clean energy investments and the role of multilateral development banks such as the ADB. In between, specific approaches, instruments, and strategies were discussed around innovative and integrated solutions for a low-carbon and resilient future among clean energy experts and practitioners.
