Ms. Yumiko Noda is a Partner of PwC Japan, leading the Infrastructure and Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) practice. She also leads the Cities Solution Centre in Japan, as well as Cities Infrastructure Solutions Centre for PwC Global, which is located in Singapore. She is recognized as one of the pioneers who introduced Private Finance Initiative (PFI) concepts into Japan, helping the development of Japan’s PFI policies and advising high-profile pathfinder projects. Between 2007 and 2009 she served as Deputy Mayor of Yokohama City, where she was responsible for business and economy, tourism, transport, water management, international strategy, and PPP. 

She is a member of the Urban Solution Advisory Panel, Centre for Liveable Cities in Singapore, and was recently selected as one of World Cities Summit Young Leaders. In Japan, she is a member of “Board of Directors at Keizaidoyukai,” Japanese Executives’ Business Association, “Future City Initiative Committee” under Cabinet Secretariat Government of Japan, “Council for Transport Policy” of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism, and “Subcommittee on Economic Cooperation and Infrastructure Systems Export” under Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry. 

She holds a MBA from Harvard University and BA from Tokyo University.
