Principal Regional Cooperation Specialist, CCSD, ADB Profile / Bio Mr. Yuebin Zhang has over 35 years of experience in development and poverty reduction and has been deeply involved in regional cooperation and integration (RCI) since 2003. He joined ADB’s East Asia Department in 2006 and is now Principal Regional Cooperation Specialist in the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department, with responsibilities for monitoring implementation of ADB’s RCI strategies and operational plans, managing RCI funds, providing operational support to regional and sector departments, ensuring quality of RCI projects through RCI classification, and coordinating with development partners on RCI issues. Before joining ADB, Mr. Zhang had worked in the Ministry of Finance, People Republic of China (PRC). He also served as Advisor to PRC’s Executive Director at the World Bank Group; and worked in International Finance Corporation as a staff member.
