Yongjun Sung

Mr. Yongjun Sung is the Founder and CEO of  INGINE, and the original inventor of its proprietary wave energy harvesting technology. With a professional background in plant engineering, he has been leading the development of this technology since 2012. He is actively involved in global initiatives to drive the sustainable blue economy through practical and scalable wave energy conversion. INGINE has achieved Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7 and is currently conducting a Commercial Demonstration Project in Indonesia. Unlike offshore systems, INGINE’s technology—encompassing both onshore and nearshore solutions—is a mission-oriented innovation specifically designed for small-to-medium-sized projects required for distributed energy resources (DER).
