Yi Liu

Since 2008, Dr. Yi Liu has been working on smart grid, and his research interests are in energy internet planning, and flexible energy resource planning, control and optimization. He has participated in several key smart grid projects of State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Company Limited. He participated in various work related to energy Internet in 2014. In early 2015, and he took part in the establishment of Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute, Tsinghua University, and work as deputy director there until now. He also led the "Tianfu New District Energy Internet Demonstration Project" and a sub-project of "Zhuhai Energy Internet + Smart Energy Demonstration Project". Besides scientific and technological research and development, he is also responsible for the technology commercialization of our institute.

Dr. Liu received his Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and a Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Peking University in 2006.
