Yangzom

Yangzom is an experienced procurement professional with over 17 years in public procurement and contract management across Asia. At ADB, as a Procurement Specialist with the Procurement Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD), she provides technical guidance, capacity development, and leads strategic procurement planning for projects to ensure quality and deliver value-for-money. She co-leads the e-GP Functional Team in PPFD. Her career spans roles at AIIB as a Procurement Specialist and the World Bank as a Procurement Consultant, where she supported major infrastructure projects and procurement reforms. Yangzom played a key role in establishing and strengthening Bhutan’s public procurement systems. She holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, a PGCert in Public Procurement Law and Policy, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS).
