She has served on the boards of directors of the International Association of Feminist Economics and Chinese Economists Society. She is an associate editor of Feminist Economics and has served on the editorial boards of PRC Economic Review, Journal of Comparative Economics and Journal of Socio-Economics. Her research focuses on PRC’s economic transition and development, with an emphasis on labor and gender issues.
