Head of Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Universitas Diponegoro Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Wiwi is a distinguished expert in urban and regional planning, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Universitas Diponegoro. With over 15 years of experience, Wiwi has been actively involved in urban sustainability and resilience projects. She has led significant research initiatives, including the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network and various projects funded by international organizations such as Korea International Cooperation Agency and the Australian Government. Her work focuses on disaster risk management, climate adaptation, and governance, contributing to the development of resilient urban communities. Wiwii has also served as the Deputy Chief Resilience Officer for Semarang under the Global Resilient Cities Network and is a founding board member of the SDGs Center at Universitas Diponegoro. Her extensive research and advocacy efforts have significantly influenced urban planning policies and practices in Indonesia and beyond. She holds a bachelor's degree in urban and regional planning from Universitas Diponegoro, master's degrees in urban and regional planning from lnstitut Teknologi Bandung and population studies from the Australian National University, and a doctoral degree in Regional Development Planning from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
