William Tuivaga is a public service professional from the Cook Islands with nearly 30 years of experience spanning policing, emergency management, climate change adaptation, and utility sector leadership. He began his career as a Police Officer and later became a trainer in emergency operations, a role he continues to deliver today. He spent 11 years at the Office of the Prime Minister, then transitioned into the utility sector, serving as Manager of Human Resources and Safety at Te Aponga Uira (the Cook Islands’ electrical authority) and joining To Tatou Vai (TTV) in 2022. Outside of work, he serves as Chairman of the Project Committee in Ruaau, Arorangi, where he is driving the construction of a community clinic for mothers and babies.
