Weiwei Kou

Weiwei Kou is currently the Director of Investment and Enterprise Development Department of Ant Financial Services Group, where she is responsible for the management of the invested companies. In January 2018, Ant Financial completed the strategic investment in the Tianjin Climate Exchange. In April of the same year, Ms. Kou was appointed the CEO of Tianjin Climate Exchange. Ms. Kou received a Master’s Degree in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Cardiff University. She is one of the pioneers in China’s green finance sector and has 13 years of experience since she first joined in the European Climate Exchange, London and started her career in the sector in 2006. In addition to carbon finance, her professional fields mainly include natural asset value assessment, influence investment, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and individual green financial products, and the application of digital technology in sustainable development.
