Managing Partner and Research Director, Knowledge Dialogues Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Waltraut Ritter is founder of Knowledge Dialogues, specializing in research and advisory services relating to innovation, knowledge and intellectual capital across the Asia‐Pacific region and Europe. She works on innovation projects at the intersection between universities, government, business and civil society. Recent projects included an analysis of Open Data strategies in Asia, a resilient city indicator assessment, as well as building public sector capabilities in Myanmar. She also regularly contributes to knowledge‐economy research of UNESCAP, UNESCO and OECD. She is visiting faculty in the international Ph.D. programme in knowledge and innovation management at the Bangkok University, and guest lecturer in the M.Sc. in Innovation Management Programme at the Singapore Management University. She holds an MA in Information Science and Sociology from the Free University of Berlin and an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, U.K. She is a founding member of the New Club of Paris, a knowledge‐economy think tank, the International Council on Knowledge Management and member of APSTN (Asia Pacific Science, Technology and Society Network). Ritter has been serving on the Digital21 Strategy Advisory Committee of the HKSAR government since 2010. She is VP of the ICT committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macau.
