Social Sector Economist, ADB Profile / Bio Vishal is a Social Sector Economist for Human and Social Development Sector at the Asian Development Bank. He leads sovereign projects on harnessing innovation and digital tools to advance education and skill development in Southeast Asia. He has also led work on digitalization and start-up ecosystem development in Central and West Asia. Before joining ADB, Vishal served as an Overseas Development Institute Fellow in East Africa, working as an economist in the Ministry of Finance in Uganda and South Sudan. He also served a William J. Clinton Fellow in India. Vishal holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development.
