Vinita Rodrigues

Vinita has a Masters Degre in 'Natural Resources and Governance' from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She worked with an NGO working with rural communities in India. She engaged in socioecological research and supported community-based participatory action reserch work aimed at landscape restoration and also worked on creating knowledge material based on this work and related efforts. She has also freelanced for projects focusing on historical research and degradation of urban wetland areas. 

She has been working with cBalance since March 2020 and plays diverse roles - besides supporting with research for a range of climate crisis battling projects. She has been primarily involved in coordinating, designing, and facilitating community-based workshops and related engagements to suppor the co-creation and implemenation of experimental thermal comfort solutions in marginalized urban settlements. She also supports with the writing, editing, and designing of communication pieces, such as articles, reports, and newsletters.
