Valtter has a 15 year career in sustainable finance, spanning private and sovereign investment operations across Latin America, Africa, and Asia with a passion for improving the sustainability and resilience of agribusinesses. Prior to joining ADB in 2025, Mr. Louhivuori worked for Finnfund in Nairobi, Kenya, where he served as Head of the Africa regional office.
