Undral Gombodorj

Undral is the Director of the Democracy Education Center (DEMO), a Mongolian NGO. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Institute of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic. She is a certified trainer, facilitator, mentor, researcher, and author of numerous publications in NGO management, social accountability, governance, and volunteering. 
She is the Chair of the Network of Mongolian Volunteer Organizations and National Representative for IAVE Mongolia. 

DEMO has started the Check My Service initiative in 2012 with the aim to assess the transparency and accountability of public services through the Community scorecard tool. Since its start and to date, DEMO has implemented a series of this initiative such as Check My School, Check My Hospital, Check My Water Well, and others. Check My Service initiative was selected by the Open Government Partnership (OGP) as one of the best Asia Pacific regional innovations in 2014 and 2016 and received an OGP Global Award in 2016.
