Dr. Tune Usha is a Senior scientist with over 25 years of experience in Geoinformatics, satellite remote sensing, coastal zone management, hazard risk assessment, and marine spatial planning. Currently leading multi-disciplinary initiatives at National Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India, with focus on operational coastal decision support systems, climate risk modeling, and sustainable blue economy planning.

He is recognized for developing innovative tools like SAHAV (India’s first Digital Public Good under SDG-14), coastal flood warning systems, and ecological GIS platforms adopted by multiple Indian states.
