Tran Quoc Bao

Dr Bao received a doctor of medicine and PhD in Public Health from Medical Universities in Viet Nam. He has nearly 30 years working experience in the fields of public health and non-communicable diseases (NCD). He was the major investigator or coordinator of many research projects such as the National STEPwise surveys on NCD Risk Factors in 2010, 2015, and in 2021.

Since 2012, he has been Head of the NCD Control Division at the Ministry of Health and worked as focal point for the development and implementation management of the National Strategy, Action Plan and policies for prevention and control of NCD and risk factors.
