Deputy Commissioner for Int'l Affairs, Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Mr. Toshihiko Fujii has served with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan since 198_, during which time he served in various capacities such as Former Director General of the Japan Business Council in Europe; Director of the Office for Trade Remedy Investigations from 2004–2007; Director at the Multilateral Trade System Department from 2007–2009; Director of the Trade Policy Division, Trade Policy Bureau from 2013–2014; and Deputy Director General of the Global Energy Policy from 2012–2013. He is currently Deputy Commissioner for International Affairs at the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy in METI. He has a BA in Economics from The University of Tokyo, and an MBA from the University of Washington.
