Country Operations Head, ADB Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Trang is a Country Operations Head at ADB. She was previously a Senior Urban Development Specialist in the Urban Development and Water Division of the Southeast Asia Department. Trained as an environmental manager and an urban planner, she has been working on sanitation, urban planning and urban development, water resources management, waste management, biodiversity conservation, community-based forest management, agriculture value chains development, and rural development in Southeast Asia for over 15 years. Most recently, she has been engaging in developing projects on sanitation development in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) and the Philippines, applying the citywide inclusive sanitation (CWIS) approach. In addition to developing and administering projects, she has been involved in country-level sector assessment and strategy planning for Cambodia, Lao PDR, and the Philippines to support ADB’s investments in these countries.
